Daniel N'kombo is happily married to Renatte N'kombo, and they have five wonderful children. He is a small business owner and a Christian faith leader. As an immigrant, Daniel is fiscally responsible, has experience in finance, and is dedicated to supporting his community and maintaining strong family values.
Daniel N'kombo is running for Kent County Treasurer to champion his values on a broader scale. He aims to strategically manage Kent County's investments to enhance public infrastructure, address the housing crisis, expand educational opportunities, improve healthcare, promote social justice, and achieve our climate goals.
Daniel N'kombo is a proven leader in leveraging public finance to enhance the quality of life for Kent County residents. His flagship initiative focuses on renewable energy, aiming to double affordable housing, repair deteriorating roads, support Kent County's climate goals, and enhance community spaces like libraries and parks.
With this program, Daniel will surpass the ambitious targets of his "17k/17k" Housing Plan, creating over 17,000 new homes—marking the largest building boom in Kent County this century. This initiative will double affordable housing and safeguard over 17,000 low-income tenants from displacement. Additionally, it will end the county's reliance on costly outside contractors for road repairs, enabling Kent County to break records for the most miles of roads repaved twice over.
